Reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Architecture , this role will help support scalable, efficient, and well-governed business processes and system solutions across functions such as Marketing, Revenue Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Customer Operations .This individual will work across a broad systems landscape that includes platforms such as Marketo, Zuora Billing and RevPro, Intacct, etc . The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis skills, business process knowledge, and the ability to translate cross-functional business needs into clear requirements, process improvements, and system solutions.This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business process, systems thinking, stakeholder collaboration, and delivery execution.BigCommerce, part of the Commerce brand family, helps merchants increase sales at every stage of their growth. We enable our customers to build, innovate, and grow, collectively reshaping the e-commerce industryWhat You’ll DoServe as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams across back-office functions and enterprise systemsPartner with teams across Marketing, Revenue Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Customer Operations to understand business needs, challenges, and prioritiesGather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirementsDocument current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, and system interactionsTranslate business needs into user stories, requirements, process maps, and supporting documentationFacilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to align on requirements and solutionsWork with architects, administrators, developers, QA, and vendors to support solution design and implementationHelp define system and process improvements that support scalability, efficiency, and data qualitySupport user acceptance testing by developing test scenarios, coordinating business participation, and validating outcomesAssist with release readiness, documentation, and training for system or process changesHelp prioritize incoming business requests and support tradeoff discussions across competing needsContribute to application and process improvement roadmapsSupport integration and cross-system analysis, including process impacts and dependenciesPartner with third-party vendors and implementation teams where appropriateAssist with effort estimation, implementation planning, and business readiness activitiesWho You Are3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar roleExperience working between business stakeholders and technical teams to define and deliver system or process improvementsStrong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and stakeholder communicationExperience analyzing and improving cross-functional business processesExposure to enterprise platforms such as marketing automation, CRM, billing, ERP, or finance systemsFamiliarity with tools such as Adobe Marketo, Zuora, Salesforce, or financial/back-office systems is preferredUnderstanding of business processes related to marketing operations, billing, invoicing, revenue operations, finance, accounting, GL, AP, or AR is a plusExperience supporting UAT, release readiness, and change adoption activitiesUnderstanding of SDLC and experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environmentsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teamsBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceNice to HaveExperience working in a SaaS or subscription-based business environmentExposure to quote-to-cash, lead-to-revenue, billing, or record-to-report processesExperience working with integrated application environments and third-party vendorsSome project coordination or project delivery experienceWork Where You ThriveThis is a hybrid role.
