Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting per the plan of care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with accuracy per orders and facility policies.
• Monitor vital signs, intake and output, and document changes; promptly report to the supervising RN.
• Perform focused resident assessments and contribute to updates of care plans and medication administration records.
• Collaborate with RNs, other LPNs, CNAs, and the health care team to implement and adjust care plans; respond to emergencies as needed.

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; New Mexico licensure or eligible via multi-state/compact framework.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and meet guaranteed weekly hours.
• LPN diploma and high school equivalency (or equivalent).
• Ability to pass required background checks and health clearances.
