I opened my agency in 2000 and currently lead a team of four. I've been with State Farm for 33 years, with experience in homeowners claims and agency resources before becoming an agent. State Farm is a family tradition - I'm the seventh State Farm agent in my family. I'm a Mercer University graduate, have been married for 28 years, and am the proud father of twins and triplets.

Giving back to the community is an important part of our agency. We sponsor three local high schools, recognize a weekly high school football player, support the Midwest Food Bank, and I'm proud to serve on the board of the Real Life Center, a local nonprofit.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Customer Service Representative with Clay Van Meter - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance business. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you an ideal fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agent team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Answer customer inquiries and requests.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Dedicated to customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
