What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients in the CVOR setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and ensure safe perioperative and intraoperative procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care strategies
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately
• Support emergency and routine surgical procedures in the CVOR unit
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and clinical standards

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or able to obtain one
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience, including CVOR surgical procedures
• Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Experience working in high-volume surgical units
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to dynamic clinical situations

About the Assignment This assignment is with a leading facility in Slidell, Louisiana, providing exceptional perioperative care in a collaborative environment. The CVOR unit handles 10-25 cases daily, supporting a variety of cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries. Staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during events that require extended or relief staffing. Scrubs are provided, and a supportive professional team is available 24/7 to ensure your success.
