Skilled Trades Recruiter – NY/CT Region Location: NY/CT Region Applicants must live within the NY/CT region, ideally within commuting distance of Kingston, NY. To Be Considered, You Must Have Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience specifically within the skilled trades/home services industry Recent experience recruiting residential HVAC and plumbing professionals Hands‑on experience using Lever ATS Proven success sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and other sourcing platforms Experience managing multiple open requisitions across multiple businesses in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment Must live in the NY/CT region Help Us Build the Best Trades Teams Sila Services is looking for an experienced Skilled Trades Recruiter to support multiple residential home services businesses throughout the NY/CT region. We need someone who understands how competitive skilled trades recruiting is. Great HVAC techs and plumbers aren't always applying to job postings — you have to find them, build relationships and get them interested in making a move. You’ll support multiple businesses and work directly with General Managers and hiring leaders across the region. Every business is a little different, so you need to be able to manage different hiring needs, priorities and personalities while keeping everything moving. If you know the trades, love sourcing and are comfortable going after passive candidates, we’d love to talk to you. What You’ll Do Manage full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer acceptance Support multiple home services businesses throughout NY and CT Recruit HVAC Technicians, Plumbers, Electricians, Drain Technicians, Installers, CSRs, Dispatchers, Sales Professionals, Managers and other home services positions Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, networking and industry relationships Build relationships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs and other local talent sources Partner directly with General Managers and hiring leaders to understand each business and its hiring needs Screen candidates for experience, technical skills, licenses and certifications Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and keep the interview process moving Sell candidates on the opportunity, compensation, benefits, culture and career growth Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in Lever Manage multiple open requisitions and candidate pipelines across several businesses Track pipeline activity, recruiting metrics and time-to-fill Build strong relationships within the local skilled trades community What We’re Looking For 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience specifically within the skilled trades/home services industry Recent experience recruiting residential HVAC and plumbing professionals Lever ATS experience is required Strong passive sourcing experience Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Experience managing high-volume recruiting across multiple locations or businesses Strong communication and relationship-building skills Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once Comfortable working with different General Managers and adapting to the needs of each business Familiarity with HVAC certifications and plumbing/electrical licensing is a plus Comfortable picking up the phone and finding candidates rather than waiting for applicants Must live in the NY/CT region Ability to travel to businesses throughout the region as needed Why Join Sila?
