Inventory Control Analyst

Inventory Control SpecialistThis role is critical to maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting operational continuity, and ensuring compliance with key inventory-related SOX controls across our manufacturing network.Main Duties:Inventory monitoring and analysis to identify and resolve inventory variancesInventory reconciliations and reporting activitiesExecution and oversight of inventory-related SOX controls and documentationSupport for cycle count and physical inventory processesMonitoring of inventory adjustments, COGI exceptions, and other inventory integrity activitiesPreparation of audit support and follow-up on inventory control findingsPartnership with plant operations, finance, and supply chain teams to drive inventory accuracy and process complianceMust Haves (i.e., years of experience?):3+ years of inventory accounting or inventory control experienceManufacturing environment experienceSAP experienceSOX and audit support experienceStrong Excel skills (pivot tables and lookups at minimum)Proven inventory variance investigation experienceTop Three Technical Skills:1. Inventory Analysis & SAP Inventory ManagementAnalyze inventory variances and discrepanciesPerform inventory reconciliations and tie-outsResearch negative inventory, COGI errors, IDOCs, and inventory exceptionsUnderstand cycle counts and physical inventory processesWork comfortably in SAP (S/4 preferred) and Excel2. SOX Controls & Audit ComplianceInventory-related SOX controlsInventory count completeness reviewsInventory adjustment approvalsDocumentation and audit evidence requirementsSegregation of duties conceptsControl testing and compliance activities3.
