ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Job Duties
You will demonstrate a solid baseline of technical and operational capabilities.
You will perform routine physical inspections, conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on HVAC and UPS systems, and troubleshoot standard electrical and mechanical failures using established manufacturer manuals.
You will document equipment issues in standard CASREPs, follow general OSHA, Navy safety, and environmental guidelines, and use appropriate personal protective equipment in hazardous environments.
You will monitor day to day contractor tasks for contract compliance, interpreting standard engineering drawings and schematics, and coordinating basic maintenance schedules and work requests.
