Position Summary This role supports asset protection, health and safety, collaboration, data literacy, training, communication, process improvement, environmental protection, operational excellence, and overall compliance within Walmart. Work Shift Description Various schedules may be available and the details will be discussed during the interview process. Responsibilities Asset Protection Security: Supports facility security staff. Monitors and maintains access control equipment. Employee Health and Safety: Accesses organizational resources to address different types of business‑specific health and safety hazards. Supports the implementation of OSHA and industry guidelines. Conducts compliance, safety and food‑safety audits and reviews. Creates audit reports and analyzes claims that may require settlement. Partnership Collaboration: Owns delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others. Supports process updates and changes. Solves simple business issues and demonstrates functional knowledge of the business unit. Data and Digital Literacy: Gathers and interprets data in a digital environment. Analyzes and creates reports using existing models and templates. Leverages technology to support transactional activities and perform data‑quality checks. EHS Training Delivery: Supports instructors or facilitators in training programs. Manages systematic approaches to solicit feedback from participants. Influential Communication: Organizes thoughts and communicates credibly within scope of work. Presents to and influences team members and partners. Uses data to articulate results and provide recommendations. Process Improvement: Supports implementation of process improvement strategies. Identifies gaps and suggests improvement strategies. Participates in investigations and root‑cause analysis. Environmental Protection: Applies environmental regulations and compliance requirements. Receives and redirects inquiries from regulatory bodies. Contributes to achieving environmental targets. Operational Excellence: Explains operational functions and key roles. Clarifies interdependence of support and line functions. Identifies primary operational functions within the organization. Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity. Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources. Respects the individual by embracing differences and building a culture of belonging. Works as a team, builds trust, and motivates others. Strengthens the team by mentoring and recognizing contributions. Acts with integrity, maintaining high ethical standards and supporting Walmart’s regenerative goals. Delivers results with the customer first focus. Strives for excellence by learning, taking calculated risks and driving continuous improvement. Qualifications 6 months experience as a Walmart associate or 1 year’s work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security‑related field. Preferred: Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint and OneDrive; work experience in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security‑related field.
