We can’t wait to meet you! Note: This is a Float position to the following locations: St Pete, Park Blvd, MacDill, Carrollwood, Brandon, Sun City, Lakewood ranch, Sarasota, Sarasota Springs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operates mammography equipment and performs various mammography related procedures. Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion. Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health. Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining records and files, and cleaning and adjusting equipment as needed. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requiresregistration as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T. Requires current Radiology and Mammography license in the State PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
