Nursing Assistant (NA) PRN NightsSelect Specialty Hospital - Wichita is a critical illness recovery hospital, located inside of Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital on the 6th floor, committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. As a critical illness recovery hospital, we help patients during some of the most vulnerable, painful moments of their lives – and our Nursing Assistants (NA) play central role in providing compassionate, excellent care every step of the way.Responsibilities:Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hairParticipate in hourly roundsTransport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairsMaintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairsKeep patients' rooms in clean and orderly conditionMaintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directedPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)BLS is required within 90 days of hireEqual Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans
