Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Independently diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic conditions, or collaborating with physicians as necessary
• Providing education to patients and families regarding preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management
• As a prescriber, managing medications and therapies within your scope of practice

• Accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
