Travel RN - Operating RoomAmerican TravelerPhoenix, Arizona, United StatesAssignment type: travelShift: NightsLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1$2,284.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with robotics and Level I Trauma experience for a 13-week night shift assignment at a busy acute care hospital.DetailsGeneral OR unit with 9 regular beds, 1 trauma bay, and 1 urgent bayLevel I Trauma acute care settingHandles approximately 30 cases per dayUses Cerner and Surginet EMR systemsNight shift schedule: Sunday-Tuesday, 18:30-07:00, 12-hour shiftsNo call required for the standard schedule, though on-call rotation is one weekend a month and one night a week as neededRotates weekend coverage with staffCharge nurse and CSTs present on the unitRT and pharmacy support available 24/7Scrubs provided by facilityMay float to Lithotripsy (if skilled), Westgate, or AZ General Laveen campusesOne week of floor-specific orientation providedCares for general, ortho, robotics, plastics, trauma, ENT, spine, urology, GYN, neonate, high-risk c-section, donor, hand, and occasional eye surgery patientsRequirementsActive AZ or Compact RN license requiredBLS certification requiredMinimum 2 years of experience requiredLevel I Trauma, ortho trauma, and general OR experience requiredRobotics experience requiredCirculating experience required; scrub RN experience a strong plusBSN not requiredTwo professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibilityCopy of driver's license required for considerationAdditional InformationMust complete a pass/fail SIMs Lab skills check on day one of orientation, including Foley catheter insertion and maintenance of sterile fieldAdditional lift, restraint, and wound care training provided during orientation for educational purposesTeam structure includes 1 RN and 1 CST during the week; RN, CST, and a huck on weekendsFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyMust reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as verified by driver's licenseCandidates previously employed directly (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible
