The successful candidate will be responsible for the department's day-to-day operations, including staff support, mentorship, education, and maintaining accountability standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong and recent background in emergency department leadership, be a visible and experienced leader, and possess the ability to be both a strong and compassionate leader. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to be patient-focused and adaptable to the changing needs of the department. Applicants for the Interim Director position must have a BSN and an active RN license. The role requires a leader who can start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance and is capable of making a meaningful impact in a short period.
