Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Deliver care within a Gastrointestinal (GI) and Medical/Surgical unit environment
• Monitor patients utilizing telemetry-capable private room accommodations
• Document and communicate patient status using SBAR methodology within the Cerner electronic health record system
• Administer and manage medications using Accudose dispensing system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical specialty
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Proficiency with Cerner and Accudose systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience with Gastrointestinal (GI) patient populations
• Familiarity with SBAR communication framework
