Description

Multiple shifts available:

1st: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Split Shift: Monday - Thursday, 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM (10% Shift Premium)

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Read and understand part drawings, work instructions, and quality requirements to check part dimensions and tolerances
• Set up and use inspection gauges for production checks
• Inspect parts using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) guidelines
• Perform incoming (receiving) inspections to ensure materials meet purchase order and specification requirements
• Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect part features including alignment, location, geometric tolerances; develop, modify, and validate inspection programs when needed
• Inspect tooling and fixtures and keep accurate inspection and calibration records
• Visually inspect parts and materials for surface defects such as cracks, dents, burrs, or poor welds
• Verify assemblies are complete by comparing parts to drawings, parts lists, or sample models
• Measure parts using standard inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators
• Identify, document, and reject non-conforming parts, and work with the Quality Supervisor to resolve quality issues

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with minimum 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
