Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of MRI exams on the Siemens Espree 1.5T system, including brain, spine, MR angiography/venography (head and neck), MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, breast, and MSK studies
- Prepare and administer intravenous contrast media; operate BRACCO power injector
- Position patients, select appropriate imaging sequences (diffusion, gradient-echo, T1/T2, spin-echo, MIP, MPR), and apply surface coils to optimize image quality
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans; monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC; verify orders, schedule, and imaging results; coordinate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Transportation)
- Assist with equipment readiness, quality control, and room turnover; adhere to radiation safety and facility protocols
- Float to other areas as needed while maintaining MRI workflow efficiency and patient care quality
- Complete pre-start orientation modules and comply with site-specific onboarding requirements

Requirements
- Licenses: Active New York state license in-hand to submit
- Certifications: BLS required
- Experience: MRI experience required; 1-2 years noted in notes-verify with Hiring Manager; First-time traveler accepted with substantial MRI background
- Imaging modality expertise: MRI modalities including brain, spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), MR angiography/venography, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis (male & female), breast, and MSK
- Contrast work: Preparation and administration of contrast media; BRACCO injector experience
- IV skills: Peripheral IV access
- On-site requirements: EPIC experience required
- Equipment: Proficiency with Siemens Espree 1.5T systems; familiarity with diffusion, gradient-echo, MIP/MPR sequences
- Other: Ability to work in a float-capable, multi-age setting (Pediatrics-Geriatrics); pre-start orientation modules completed or in progress
