Lead Carpenter Position

VKB Homes is the top home remodeling company in the Fox Valley Region, and we are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to add to our growing team! We are a family oriented company and a great place to work! The VKB in our name actually stands for the owners 3 boys; Vance, Keaton, and Blake. We take pride in our workmanship and in our company. Description of Position:

• A self starter position that requires both a jobsite ownership mindset and ability to lead others.
• Working multiple jobsites to help get projects to completion.
• Managing the workflow on multiple projects.
• Finish carpentry work, tile, trim, and cabinet installation in mostly residential and some small commercial settings.
• VKB Team members need to be able to work well with each other and be able to keep focused and stay on task working alone.
• Time management skills are needed to ensure jobs get done promptly, within allotted timeframes.
• Attention to job safety, cleanliness of job sites, and customer relations are highly valued.

Requirements:

• Must be highly organized.
• Must have remodeling experience.
• Must have familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to use technology to run a jobsite.
• Must be polite and presentable to customers.
• Must be trustworthy and kind.
• Must be a problem solver.
• Must have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Must be detail orientated and take pride in their craftsmanship.
