Senior Accountant

Overview We are seeking a hands‑on Senior Accountant to support core general ledger accounting and play a critical role in executing the month‑end close process within a growing technology services organization. This role is ideal for a self‑driven, detail‑oriented professional who takes ownership, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is eager to contribute wherever needed. You will work closely with the Controller and VP of Finance, with visibility into financial operations, process improvement, and growth initiatives. About the Role Team: Finance Department Type: Full Time | Hybrid Location: El Segundo What You’ll Do Month-End Close and General Ledger Ownership Own and drive the monthly close process Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation Reconcile balance sheet accounts in line with audit standards Maintain accurate general ledger activity and schedules Analyze variances and ensure financial accuracy Play a key role in preparing the majority of close deliverables, working closely with the Controller who retains overall ownership Operational Accounting Support AP, AR, payroll, and expense processes as needed Assist with revenue recognition and deferred revenue Maintain strong internal controls and documentation Support audit preparation and external requests Process Improvement and Growth Support Identify gaps in close and improve efficiency over time Help shift work into pre‑close to shorten close timelines Support system enhancements, integrations, and acquisitions Contribute to building scalable accounting processes Team Leadership and Collaboration Work cross‑functionally with operations and leadership Support ad hoc requests in a fast‑paced, growing environment What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance CPA (active or in progress) 4+ years of accounting experience in public or industry Strong US GAAP knowledge Proven experience owning or heavily supporting month‑end close Strong Excel and analytical skills ERP experience required, Business Central is a plus What Sets You Apart Takes ownership and operates with a proactive, results‑driven mindset Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through Able to manage competing priorities and deadlines Positive, team‑first attitude in a collaborative environment Why Join TMC Competitive salary and bonus Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) Hybrid work environment High visibility with leadership Exposure to acquisitions and operational growth Opportunity to deepen expertise and operate as a senior accountant within a growing organization About TMC Technology Management Concepts (TMC) is a Premier Microsoft Solutions Partner headquartered in Southern California, with 37+ years of experience and 350+ active clients.
