Tech Writer

Key Responsibilities

• Documentation Creation: Develop and improve work instructions standard operating procedures troubleshooting guides and job aids.
• Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts engineers and operations gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Research: Investigate and analyze technical information from various sources to create comprehensive documentation that meets user needs.
• Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit documentation for clarity consistency and adherence to company style guidelines.
• Basic Project Management: Manage documentation projects including planning scheduling and tracking progress to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in English communication technical writing engineering or science fields.
• 3 years of technical writing experience
• Proficient with MS Office (Word Excel Power Point Outlook Teams). PTC Windchill system experience is a plus.
• Ability to understand technical processes being documented. Optics knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all documentation produced.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment adapting to changing project requirements and deadlines.
