Job Summary FloMed Infusion is an outpatient infusion clinic offering Medical Infusions and Injections in a relaxing ambulatory environment. For more specifics on what we do and who we are, please review our website We are a Florida-based company with plans for rapid expansion across the state of New Jersey. We currently have 11 offices in Florida and 4 additional offices open in Freehold, Princeton, Brick, and Shrewsbury. We are seeking a Full Time Infusion RN for our Weston location. Candidates will be required to orient at least 1 week in Delray Beach, Florida. Infusion Nurse Responsibilities The Infusion Nurse reports to the Nursing Manager and is responsible for providing clinical services. The infusion nurse is responsible for the quality and adequacy of services provided and may, when required, supervise staff. They administer clinical care, prepare progress notes and summaries of care, and keep nursing manager, physician, and other personnel informed of changes in the client’s condition. Qualifications Infusion nurse with current unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of hire (Florida or New Jersey). Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; must have graduated from an accredited Nursing program. Minimum of five (5) years of documented experience. Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience with two (2) years experience in infusion care preferred. Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills. Comply with accepted professional standards of practice. Excellent interpersonal skills. Analytic/Critical thinker. Excellent IV skills/Ability to start IV lines on difficult patients. Pediatric experience a plus. Port access experience. Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with clients, staff, and the community. Treat clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect and present a positive public image. Understands regulatory compliance, federal regulations including but not limited to OSHA, HIPAA. Position includes tasks that have the potential for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material (OPIM) such as body fluids/tissues. Physical Requirements The Infusion Nurse must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the ability of the client. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
