Tigg's Canteen Services is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Lead Cook for Jackson County Jail in Jackson, MI . What You'll Do Lead and assist with daily meal preparation Prepare, bake, and cook meals according to company recipes Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen Lead and instruct other kitchen staff Follow company policies and facility procedures Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work in a structured correctional environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays Flexibility to work varying shifts between 7:00 AM-6:00 PM Must be approved for clearance into the facility Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!
