Every day we attempt to go above and beyond for our residents, their families, and staff.We are looking for a Dining Room Server who is energized by the thought of joining a thriving senior living community. Someone who is both professional, friendly, and cares about others will thrive in this role.Under the direction of the Dining Services Director, a Dining Room Server performs a variety of tasks in the preparation, service, and clean up for lunch and dinner meals served to our residents. Some of the general responsibilities of a Dining Server include, but are not limited to:Upholds a high level of customer service when dealing with staff, residents, families, and guests — addressing questions and concerns with respect and thoughtfulnessCreates an enjoyable dining experience for residents and their guestsFollows established guidelines while serving in the main dining room and at special functionsChecks with hostess on duty for any special meal arrangementsServes residents promptly in an orderly and polite manner, bussing tables between courses in an organized manner, and resetting tables dailyFollows all safety and sanitation rules and regulationsFollows instructions, works well with others, and maintains a good rapport with residentsRefers all problems to host/hostess or member of the management staffPresents a clean and professional appearanceCooperates with staff of other departments in performing job dutiesWe are looking for a Full Time and/or Part Time Dining Room Server. We also offer all employees paid time off (PTO), holiday pay, and one complimentary meal per shift.Minimum requirements:Experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or long-term care dining environment preferred.Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.Must be able to work a flexible schedule, working weekends or holidays when needed.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk/stand 90% or more of shifts, and respond to all resident and emergency needs quickly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
