Under the guidance of the Respiratory Therapy Director, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care by expertly managing respiratory equipment and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various respiratory devices used in diagnosing and treating respiratory conditions.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and ensure accurate documentation and interpretation of results.
• Conduct daily quality control startup procedures and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Analyze patient samples, correlate findings with previous data, and report critical values promptly.
• Maintain departmental records and ensure compliance with patient and specimen identification policies.
• Collect specimens following established protocols, including performing and documenting Allen tests.
• Handle biohazardous materials safely and adhere to specimen rejection and acceptance guidelines.
• Participate actively in proficiency testing programs to uphold clinical standards.

Education & Experience

Applicants should possess a degree or certification in respiratory therapy and hold relevant credentials such as RRT. Prior experience in clinical respiratory care and familiarity with quality control procedures are essential.
