TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74127!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in a hospital setting required License: Valid state or compact nursing license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIH preferred Must-Have: Cardiac self-rating of 3 or above Basic dysrhythmia training self-rating of 3 or above Description: This is a Med Surg unit with higher acuity and no drips. The shift is nights with a ratio of 1:4. Weekend shifts are required; 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks. The position requires 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. Orientation will include 8 hours of training. Candidates need to manage patients with diverse diagnoses, including altered mental status, CHF, stroke, surgical patients, DKA, and infections. Candidates should be familiar with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care, chest tubes, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and isolation precautions. The clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. The department includes interdisciplinary support, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Candidates must be familiar with EPIC charting. There are expectations regarding attendance; all missed scheduled shifts count as unexcused and may result in warnings or cancellation. No additional requests for time off will be accepted after submission. Traveler agreements will include acceptance of job descriptions, caseload ratios, and attendance policies. All candidates must complete required modules prior to the start date.
