Healthcare Recruiter – Nursing Recruiter – Travel RN Recruiter

Talent Acquisition Specialist | Internal Agency Recruiter | Full-Time

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry is hiring a Healthcare Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Travel Nursing department. This internal Healthcare Recruiter role focuses on recruiting and placing Travel Nurses with our hospital clients across the country.

Candidates will ideally work in office, but hybrid or remote work may be considered for the right candidate.

Location: Midtown Manhattan, easily accessible between Grand Central and Penn Station.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Compensation: $50,000 base salary + uncapped commission, starting with your very first placement

Key Responsibilities for the Nurse Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist :

• Reviewing resumes and applications to identify qualified Nurses
• Sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for nursing roles
• Contacting candidates via phone, text, and email to move them through the hiring process
• Scheduling interviews, orientations, trainings, and onboarding steps
• Writing and posting job ads to attract top nursing talent
• Building and maintaining a pipeline of nurses for current and future openings
• Managing multiple open requisitions while prioritizing urgent staffing needs
• Tracking recruitment activity and maintaining accurate candidate records

Qualifications for the Nurse Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist :

• Associate’s degree or higher preferred; relevant experience considered
• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare recruiting or nursing recruitment
• Experience with agency staffing is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence building rapport over the phone and communicating with high-volume applicants
• Staying proactive, organized, and results-driven in a fast-paced recruiting environment
• Demonstrating motivation to learn and grow within a long-term recruiting career
