IT Project Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Test Manager for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ, or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role serves as the single point of contact leading all testing efforts for large-scale projects within the consumer technology portfolio. The Project Test Manager will be a core member of the project team, working directly with technology, business, and QA leadership to develop and drive the testing strategy. Responsibilities include managing all phases of testing deliverables, from planning and script creation to defect management and implementation support, ensuring production readiness and adherence to all enterprise testing standards. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the single point of contact leading testing for large or multiple small/medium scale projects/programs
• Work directly with Technology, Business and QA Leads and Managers as a member of the Core Project Team
• Develop and drive testing strategy
• Manage all testing efforts to ensure Production Readiness
• Participate and hold accountability in all phases of testing deliverables, including planning, data, testing goals, script creation, script execution, traceability, defect management, and implementation support
• Ensure the project's adherence to all Enterprise Testing Standards
• Communicate regularly with Senior Leaders via project meetings and status reports

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Project Test Management or related skills on large scale efforts
• Ability to create a Test Strategy across multiple platforms and applications
• Knowledge of System Development Lifecycle (Agile and Waterfall)
• Expertise with Agile tools (Jira, Q-Test, ALM Octane)
• Proven leadership ability and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
• Experience in Software Testing phases including Development, Unit, SIT, UAT/BAT, End to End, and PPV
• Project management background (PMP) and knowledge of Enterprise Testing Standards/PMO

Desired skills:

• Knowledge of consumer and/or wealth management applications or line of business
• Program management leadership experience
• PMP certification

Pay range: $50.39 - $58.39 per hour
