Ophthalmic Technician

Ophthalmic Technician Location: Inglewood, CA Overview Our full-time Ophthalmic Technician opportunity is within a privately owned outpatient ophthalmology practice serving adult patients. This hands‑on clinical role involves working directly with providers in a fast-paced environment with no call responsibilities. Candidates must have at least 2 years of ophthalmic technician experience, and Spanish fluency is a strong plus. Position Offers Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Competitive compensation: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) and Sick Time Off (STO) Paid Holidays Established outpatient ophthalmology clinic environment Hands-on patient care role working directly with providers Key Responsibilities Perform visual acuity testing and intraocular pressure measurements Obtain and document patient medical histories Conduct visual field testing Prepare patients for provider examinations Assist physicians with ophthalmic procedures and patient care Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic Qualifications Minimum 2 years Ophthalmic Technician experience Strong knowledge of ophthalmic testing and clinical procedures, including visual acuity, tonometry, and visual field testing Fluent Spanish preferred Strong patient communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Excellent attention to detail with ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting Why Join Us Our privately owned outpatient ophthalmology practice offers a collaborative clinical environment with direct provider interaction and strong benefits, including insurance coverage, PTO/STO, and paid holidays.
