Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for neuro acute patients on a 48-bed unit, including 10 epilepsy specialty rooms.
• Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio during day and night shifts.
• Perform SIMs Lab skills such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes, ensuring sterile field maintenance.
• Participate in educational training for lifts, restraints, and wound care.
• Monitor and manage medications and treatments, particularly for epilepsy and neurovascular disorders.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Current registered nurse license, Arizona or compact state eligibility is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg/Telemetry nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required, BSN preferred.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is necessary.
• Proven competence in dysrhythmia recognition, must pass an exam before assignment.
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills are essential for neuro patient management.
