The specialist will provide instructional and behavioral support to students with mild to moderate or moderate to intensive disabilities, ensuring compliance with Ohio special education regulations and collaborating with teachers and families. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students with mild–moderate or moderate–intensive needs. Provide direct instruction and support in classrooms and small groups. Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and related service providers to monitor student progress. Maintain accurate student records and prepare progress reports. Adhere to district policies, Ohio licensing requirements, and background check compliance. Qualifications Valid Ohio teaching license. Bachelor's degree preferred. Prior experience with special education students (K-6) and knowledge of mild–moderate and moderate–intensive interventions. Citizenship, residential status, or work visa required. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
