Position Highlights Collects blood samples. Identifies samples which are incorrectly collected or processed. Processes and stores samples. Performs all of the repetitive (high volume) tests in the laboratory. Recognizes a problem, identifies the cause, (technical, instrumental, or physiological) uses alternatives and determines solutions where no pre-set criteria are available. Confirms and verifies results through a knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments. Correlates and interprets data based on knowledge of physical conditions affecting test results.
