Associate or Experienced Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer

Position Overview Associate or Experienced Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer – Boeing Company, Everett, Washington. The Regulatory Administration & Airworthiness team is seeking an engineer to support FAA and ODA certification activities for the KC‑46 Tanker program. The role focuses on FAA 14 CFR Part 25, ATC and STC projects, and offers career growth toward ODA Engineering Unit Member, DER, or ODA Administrator. Primary Responsibilities Coordinate with Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) programs on behalf of the ODA. Collaborate with program engineering and multiple discipline organizations to ensure successful execution of certification tasks. Manage certification tasks on behalf of the FAA and review Certification Plans and other artifacts with the ODA Project Administrator. Prepare and present materials for FAA meetings and manage FAA correspondence and meeting minutes. Support resolution of technical and certification issues on behalf of the ODA. Be knowledgeable in ODA procedures and processes and educate program engineering on certification requirements and processes. Basic Qualifications (Required) Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non‑US equivalent directly related to the job. Level 2: 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience and familiarity with FAA processes and procedures, ODA and Applicant roles. Experience with project management and self‑managing projects. Experience with project leadership leading cross‑functional teams. Preferred Qualifications (Desired) Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Leadership experience, formally or informally, leading teams. Experience with Design Engineering and Regulatory through all phases of certification (ATC, STC, MTC). Experience working with KC‑46 or a comparable commercial derivative aircraft platform. Adaptability to changing scope, responsibilities and job requirements. Benefits & Compensation Competitive base pay: $94,350 – $127,650 (Associate Level) or $114,750 – $155,250 (Experienced Level).
