Responsibilities: Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing recreational activities, social events, and outings for our residents Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and maintain a monthly activities calendar that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents Lead and participate in activities such as arts and crafts, music therapy, games, and entertainment programs Encourage resident participation and involvement in activities, promoting socialization and cognitive stimulation Document resident participation, progress, and feedback to enhance future activity programming Assist with maintaining a safe and welcoming activity environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and department policies Develop relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a strong sense of community and collaboration About the Role: As an Activity Assistant at Mahoning Post Acute Nursing & Rehabilitation, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
