Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a critical access hospital setting during night shifts. Ensure patient safety and comfort through efficient and compassionate clinical interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency treatments and procedures based on established protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Ensure compliance with all licensure, certification, and hospital policies.
• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health management.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years current Emergency Room experience.
• Hold active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Maintain all relevant licenses and certifications current at time of submission.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical skills in emergency nursing and patient assessment.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Possess a BSN degree (highly preferred).
