You'll join a growing Internal Medicine residency program with opportunities to contribute to curriculum development, scholarship, and future program leadership while maintaining a rewarding outpatient practice.

Position Highlights

• Outpatient Internal Medicine: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive ambulatory practice
• Academic Appointment: Faculty appointment with the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix
• Resident Teaching & Mentorship: Precept Internal Medicine residents and participate in resident education and mentorship
• Protected Faculty Time: Dedicated time for teaching, scholarship, curriculum development, and program development
• Flexible Practice : Outpatient-focused role with limited call; inpatient shifts are optional
• Leadership Opportunities: Contribute to the continued growth of the residency program with opportunities for future leadership
• Strong Clinical Support: Work alongside experienced MAs, front office staff, and engaged clinical and GME leadership

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Arizona medical license or eligibility
• Interest in teaching and mentoring Internal Medicine residents
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
• Collaborative approach to clinical practice and medical education
• Interest in scholarship, curriculum development, or future academic leadership is encouraged
