Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with a patient ratio of 1-3 - Proficiency in charting system (Epic) Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery specialty. This position is focused on providing care to patients during labor and delivery processes, as well as postpartum care. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-risk obstetrics and be comfortable circulating in cesarean sections. Additional skills such as administration of medications and support for lactation are beneficial. The unit cares for a diverse population and emphasizes high-quality, compassionate care. This role may require floating to different areas within the facility to meet staffing needs. Travelers are expected to be flexible and comply with the facility's needs for coverage. Weekend work will be required to meet staffing needs. Candidates should be ready to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide support and care for patients.
