About This Role
Teacher's Assistant positions are very important to support the children, teachers and the school as a whole.
What You'll DoYour role as a teacher's assistant you will:
- Provide coverage and support across the entire school.
- Maintain required ratios and follow all rules for safety.
- Assist with breaks, transitions, and facility monitoring.
- Co-Teach as needed
Teacher's Assistants are required to:
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be in good physical and mental health
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be able to pass state and federal background checks
- Have reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Participate in continuing education
It is nice for our Teacher's Assistant to have:
- Experience working in licensed child care
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Have CPR and First Aid Training
- Enjoy working as part of an excellent team
