Procurement CoordinatorThe Procurement Coordinator will play a key role in supporting Shermco's vendor management and procurement processes. This position is responsible for coordinating purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting cost-saving initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.This role is onsite at our Irving Texas office.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.Support vendor onboarding, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and alignment with Shermco's procurement policies.Track purchase orders, monitor delivery timelines, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or internal stakeholders.Partner with internal teams (HR, Operations, Finance) to ensure procurement needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor data for audit readiness and compliance.Assist in monitoring supplier performance, addressing issues, and supporting vendor evaluation.Contribute to cost savings and efficiency improvement initiatives, supporting Shermco's operational and financial goals.Serve as a point of contact for supplier inquiries regarding order status, invoicing, and payments.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.2+ years of procurement, supply chain, or administrative coordination experience.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP/Procurement systems preferred.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Shermco is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
