Physical Therapist

Physical therapist profession with home health specialty. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Hours per shift: 8. Experience: 2+ years of acute nursing care and home care experience required. License: Valid Physical Therapist License in Massachusetts required. Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS required. Must-have: Home health certification required. Proficiency with OASIS required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and assistance required. Own vehicle required. Description: The physical therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy services to clients. The primary function is the provision of direct patient care. This includes collaboration with team members. Participation in the development of each patient's comprehensive plan of care is essential. Rehabilitation equipment usage includes splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment. The candidate must be able to pass a fit test using an N95 mask. Non-billable orientation hours may be required. Weekend and holiday coverage may be necessary if needed.
