Job Description

The Grounds Maintenance Worker is an essential part of the Landscaping Team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor environments. This role involves hands-on landscaping tasks to keep lawns, gardens, and other green spaces attractive, healthy, and well-maintained using a variety of tools and equipment.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and fertilizing
• Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers according to landscaping plans
• Remove weeds and apply mulch to improve soil quality and garden aesthetics
• Operate equipment such as zero turn mowers, hand tools, and power trimmers
• Conduct regular site cleanup ensuring areas are tidy and free of debris
• Care for trees including pruning and general maintenance

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in grounds maintenance
• Valid driver's license
• Skilled in operating lawn mowing equipment
• Knowledge of weed control techniques
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
