Job Details Shift: Days, 12‑hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, graduate from an accredited nursing program, 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, and experience with high‑risk maternal patients Preferred Qualifications: More than 5 years of experience, experience circulating in operating room and triage settings Type of staff: Day shift with one charge nurse, minimum of 2 surgical technologists, 1 unit clerk, and staff RNs to census during shifts Patient Ratios: 1:2 and 1:1 Typical procedures performed: Vaginal and Cesarean section deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placement and removal, D and C, C‑hyst, PASD cases Unit environment: Highly supportive with long‑term leadership, undergoing renovation to update all rooms Additional information: The unit has standardized order sets, is recognized as America's Best Maternity Hospital 2023 by Newsweek, and holds a Level 4 Maternal Designation for the State of Texas.
