Delivers quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner. Works effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care. **What you will do** * Performs noninvasive vascular ultrasound examinations. Produces quality images following appropriate protocols and procedures. Provides and maintains clinical documentation per scope of practice.* Educates patients/families regarding the procedure and/or treatment to be performed. Positions the patient and completes the procedure.* Demonstrates commitment to safety and quality and prevents or reduces harms through knowledge and application of departmental policies, procedures, and resource documents.* Understands and adheres to all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards. Follows RHS policies and procedures. Reports variances.* Provides effective and efficient assessment, actions, and documentation. **Qualifications** **Education** * Program Graduate, Accredited Sonography Program (Preferred) or* Associates Degree, Accredited Sonography Program (Preferred) or* Bachelors Degree, Accredited Sonography Program (Preferred) **Experience** * 1 year Imaging Experience (Preferred) **Licenses and Certifications** * CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required) and* Vascular Sonography - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon Hire(Required) or* Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Upon Hire(Required) or* Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Upon Hire(Required)To learn more about being a team member with Riverside Health System visit us at .If loving your work is important to you, consider a career at Riverside.
