Job Profile The bank is hiring a Loan Document Processor who will prepare closing documents for new, renewed, and modified loans in accordance with the established loan policies and procedures. Education Level High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) Work Experience 1 year or more of consumer or commercial loan experience Satisfactory credit and criminal background check Duties/Responsibilities Advises the Loan Officer of missing/incomplete information. Verifies and requires that all loans submitted for documentation have been properly approved. Demonstrates knowledge and expertise of general bank accounting procedures and supports the Company’s overall mission, standards, policies and procedures, and confidentiality guidelines. Ensures that the loan file is complete and accurate before loan closing. Interacts in a professional, courteous manner with customers, co-workers, vendors, etc. Maintain company attendance standards. Maintain personal grooming and company dress and appearance standards. Maintains strict confidentiality guidelines in accordance with Company policy. Prepares all documents required to perfect a lien on collateral securing the loan and to close a loan on time. These documents will include promissory notes, security agreements, Uniform Commercial Codes, mortgage/deed of trust, guaranty agreements, and other supporting documents required. Reviews all information submitted by loan officers using an established checklist for new, renewal, modification, and adverse action requests to ensure proper documentation, including loan data collection for HMDA/CRA/Small Business lending reporting. Understand how to read corporate entity documentation for documenting borrower names and signature requirements on loan documents. Use of DocuSign for electronic signatures. Other tasks as assigned.
