We're seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based contract in South Lake Tahoe, California , starting September 28, 2026 . This is a fantastic opportunity to support students' communication goals while enjoying year-round outdoor recreation, breathtaking mountain views, and the unique lifestyle Lake Tahoe is known for.
Position Highlights
? Travel compensation package of $3,539/week
? 37.5 hours per week
? 36-week school contract
? School-based setting
? Low behavioral support environment
? Interview-ready opportunity
? September 28, 2026 start date
Responsibilities
? Conduct speech and language evaluations
? Develop individualized treatment plans
? Provide direct therapy services to students
? Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
? Document services and student progress
? Support students in achieving communication success both academically and socially
Qualifications
? Active California SLP License
? CCC-SLP preferred
? Current CPR (if applicable)
? Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
? School-based experience preferred

Minimum Requirements:
Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
