Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in an Adult/Pediatric ER setting, including ambulance triage, lobby triage, and ED holding areas
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including RSI, procedural sedation, chest tube setup and care, cardioversion/defibrillation, and trach care/vents
• Administer blood and blood products, manage CPAP/BiPap, and operate rapid infusers and CRRT/dialysis equipment
• Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKGs and apply cooling/warming blankets as indicated
• Float to different campuses as needed to support staffing requirements
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license; active compact license accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years (references may include Charge RNs or Leads)
• Must be willing to float to different campuses

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-volume emergency department
• Experience with a broad range of ED patient populations including adult and pediatric patients
• Familiarity with ED workflows including hallway bed management in a 40-bed department
