Charge Processing Coordinator - Cardiology - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days

Job Description: Perform manual charge entry and full charge reconciliation of all office, hospital and nursing home charges and provide liaison between the practice and the CBO.

Education:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent Preferred

Experience:

• 6 Months Healthcare - Operations Preferred

Certifications/Licensures:

• Epic - Proficiency must be passed within 90 days of Start Date Required

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.

• Basic experience in Medicare reimbursement coding, ICD - 10 diagnosis and procedure coding, and CPT coding.

• Ten key by touch.

• Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems and objectives.

• Basic computer and typing skills are required.

• Maintains a thorough knowledge of applicable modules in Epic electronic health record.

• A high degree of organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and the ability to complete tasks under strict time lines is required.

• Maintains professional and personal integrity.

• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.

Work Shift:

08.0 - 08:30 - 17:00 No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$29.80 - $40.23Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.

Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
