Keep our facilities running smoothly while the city sleeps. As a Night Shift Maintenance Technician II, you'll play a critical role in maintaining a safe, functional environmenthandling repairs, preventative maintenance, and hands-on projects across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry needs.

This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, enjoys problem-solving, and works well independently. You'll work primarily nights, with occasional weekend coverage and an on-call rotation, supporting a team that relies on your skills to keep operations moving around the clock.

Job Summary:

Performs preventive and corrective maintenance related to the facilities, equipment and associated systems. including, but not limited to: fire systems, Job Profile Summary Performs routine repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities. Assists with complex and non-routine maintenance tasks.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs repairs according to work orders or verbal instructions and compiles proper documentation following established policies and procedures. Identifies and requests parts and components needed to complete tasks.
• Performs basic plumbing and electrical repairs and appliance repairs including, but not limited to: changing light bulbs, replacing ballasts and installation of light fixtures.
• Performs basic carpentry and assists with minor construction projects including, but not limited to installation and or repair of drywall, walls, flooring, ceramic tile cabinetry, countertops, shelving, painting.
• Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment including, but not limited to: debris/trash removal, heavy lifting/moving of materials and equipment, floor-sweeping and material storage.
• Enters work orders, documents tasks and closes work orders in the electronic record-keeping system.
• Performs research to find products and solutions to problems.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• One year experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Constant standing and walking.
• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry.
• Frequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
• Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, kneeling, sitting, squatting, twisting and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Occasional use of vision to judge distances and spatial relationships and to identify and distinguish colors.
• Rare use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
• Rare driving.
