AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Traveling Medicaid Specialist to join our family!

We are searching for a Traveling Medicaid Specialist who thrives in an environment where dedicated team members bring comfort, dignity and exceptional care to those that need it most. This role supports multiple communities by overseeing Medicaid eligibility, applications, renewals, and compliance processes. This role partners with facility leadership to ensure timely submissions, maximize reimbursement accuracy, and maintain regulatory compliance across assigned locations.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Medicaid pending processes, conversions, redeterminations, and denials management.
• Strong understanding of state-specific Medicaid regulations and long-term care reimbursement guidelines.
• Experience working directly with residents, families, and state Medicaid offices to secure timely approvals.
• SNF experience required.
