Estate Planning Associate AttorneySteinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Estate Planning Associate Attorney to join our Altoona office. This role supports our law partners by delivering thoughtful, people-first legal services to individuals and families. The ideal candidate values meaningful client relationships, strong teamwork, and high-quality work that delivers peace of mind.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal research and analysis related to estate planning and wealth protection planningDraft, review, and execute estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorneyMeet with clients to understand goals and provide tailored recommendationsExplain legal concepts clearly and compassionatelyManage case progression and maintain consistent client communicationReview and oversee work prepared by paralegals and support staffConduct client review meetings to ensure alignment with goalsAssist with estate administration tasks and filingsCollaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient workflowParticipate in community outreach and relationship-buildingIdentify process improvements to enhance client experienceMaintain confidentiality of client and firm informationQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive Pennsylvania law license2+ years experience preferred in estate planning or elder lawStrong research, writing, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities with attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office and legal softwareCommitment to ethical standards and confidentialityCompensationCompensation commensurate with experienceAbout Steinbacher, Goodall & YurchakAt Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, our commitment to a solutions-oriented work environment is realized through teams that are bound by mutual respect and accountability and who strive for continuous learning and growth.
