Automation Anywhere Project Manager

Location: San Antonio, TX // Hybrid

Hybrid: Needs to be onsite – Atleast 3+ days a week

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Anywhere Project Manager to lead and manage Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Automation Anywhere, project management, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of automation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving operational efficiency through intelligent automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Automation Anywhere RPA projects from initiation through deployment and support.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.

• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.

• Coordinate with business analysts, solution architects, developers, QA teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Monitor project progress, manage risks, issues, dependencies, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to Automation Anywhere best practices, governance standards, and compliance requirements.

• Drive process assessment workshops and help prioritize automation candidates based on business value and feasibility.

• Manage change requests, project documentation, and project communications.

• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment planning, and post-production support activities.

• Track and report automation benefits, ROI, productivity gains, and operational improvements.

• Mentor team members and promote continuous improvement within the automation practice.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

• 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of project management experience in RPA initiatives.

• Hands-on experience delivering projects using Automation Anywhere (A360 preferred).

• Strong understanding of RPA lifecycle, automation frameworks, and intelligent automation concepts.

• Experience managing cross-functional teams in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall environments.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

• Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced Professional or Master Certification.

• PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.

• Experience with OCR, AI/ML, Document Automation, IQ Bot, or Intelligent Document Processing solutions.

• Knowledge of other RPA platforms such as UiPath or Blue Prism.

• Experience working in healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, or enterprise environments.
