2nd shift Receiving Team Lead

Team Leader Receiving (2nd Shift)

Schedule: Monday Thursday, 3:30 PM 2:00 AM. Overtime available on Fridays.

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Team Leader Receiving to support and guide our 2nd shift receiving operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are received, handled, and distributed efficiently while maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity standards. The ideal candidate will lead by example, support team members, and help keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and assist receiving team members during daily operations
• Help unload, receive, and organize incoming materials
• Ensure materials are accurately scanned, labeled, and stored in correct locations
• Coordinate movement of materials to production and warehouse areas
• Monitor workflow to meet production and shipping deadlines
• Assist with inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and material tracking
• Promote and enforce safety procedures and warehouse policies
• Train team members on proper material handling and receiving procedures
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or receiving experience required
• Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
